Abby Francisco has worked in the energy sector for nearly a decade. During her career, Abby has bridged her experiences in engineering and research to evaluate emerging technologies, develop portfolio decarbonization strategies, and implement retrofits in buildings.

 

Before joining Apex, Abby worked at Elevate, where she provided consulting for affordable multifamily housing portfolios, municipalities, and utilities on energy efficiency and beneficial electrification. Prior to this, Abby worked at Southface where she conducted energy assessments and research in residential and small commercial buildings.

 

Abby completed her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, with a focus on analytics and visualization of community-scale energy data. She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
