Colorado Gas Utility Clean Heat Plan
 

Apex supported a Colorado Gas utility in responding to a legislative requirement for developing plans to save up to 22% of greenhouse gases compared to emissions from 2015. We analyzed energy efficiency, renewable natural gas, geothermal, and other options to assess the cost-effectiveness of meeting the goal as well as optimizing a plan to achieve significant greenhouse gas reductions cost-effectively.

Non-Pipes Alternatives
 

Apex has worked with several utilities in various U.S. locations to develop gas savings potential of energy efficiency and electrification to delay or eliminate need for pipeline expansion. Our work has involved benchmarking activities across the country, assessing technical, economic, and market potential of a wide variety of electrification and energy efficient technologies, conducting market research to inform customer interest, adoption and workforce readiness, performed stakeholder facilitation and presentations, along with policy presentations to executives and regulators.
