Scott Dimetrosky
Founder and Strategic Advisor
Scott Dimetrosky is the founder of Apex Analytics, and has led planning and evaluation studies for dozens of utilities’ energy-efficiency, load management, and market transformation programs for over 25 years. Mr. Dimetrosky is a nationally recognized expert in lighting program evaluations, serving as the lead author for the Department of Energy Uniform Methods Project (UMP) Residential Lighting Evaluation Protocols and is leads and manages residential and commercial lighting evaluations throughout the U.S.
Mr. Dimetrosky also serves in an evaluation oversight role – providing portfolio technical and analytical oversight – and has worked on behalf of program administrators and commission staff in Arkansas, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. He is also the founder and president of the Consortium for Retail Energy Efficiency Data (CREED), a consortium of program administrators, retailers, and manufacturers working together to improve planning and evaluation access to sales data, as well as co-founder of Rolling Energy Resources, which provides a software solution for electric vehicle charging management.
Prior to forming Apex Analytics, Mr. Dimetrosky was a founding member and principal at Quantec, LLC, which merged with the Cadmus Group in 2008. During his 13 years and Quantec and Cadmus, Mr. Dimetrosky led some of the largest portfolio evaluations in the United States, in California and Massachusetts. Mr. Dimetrosky has delivered papers at over 20 energy efficiency conferences and taught principles of Demand-Side Management (DSM) and DSM evaluation courses. He has served on the Planning Committee for the International Energy Program Evaluation Conference (IEPEC) and the board of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Association of Energy Service Professionals (AESP).
He has an M.B.A. in Marketing Research & Quantitative Methods from Cornell University and a B.A. (Magna Cum Laude) in Sociology from the University of Michigan.
